HENRI

Description

HENRI is a cult-status hair studio brand in Copenhagen, known for its clean aesthetic, editorial edge, and creative culture. Following a recent rebrand, the team needed a website that could match the brand’s elevated feel — while also supporting a dual-purpose platform for booking in-salon services and launching their haircare product line online.

Challenge

The brand identity was structured, cold, and minimal, but the owner wanted the site to feel more human, lifestyle-driven, and warm — without losing its edge. The key challenge was creating a digital experience that felt refined but approachable, while also serving two different user intentions:

1. Make booking appointments seamless and front-facing

2. Introduce the e-commerce side without confusing new users

Design Approach
Typography
Used the brand’s primary font and introduced larger headlines — adding softness and emotion where needed
Layout
Created a clean, structured grid system with moments of grid-breaking imagery for a more fluid, lifestyle feel
Tone of Voice
Balanced boldness with warmth — leaning into pared-down copy that reflects the brand’s cool minimalism
Microinteractions
Subtle motion and transitions added life without noise — hover states, scroll fades, and CTA feedback
Product Design
Introduced a full product grid and dedicated product pages to support the new e-commerce strategy
Header & Navigation
Prioritized booking but gave shopping clear visibility, using layout and typography hierarchy
Results

The final direction reflects HENRI’s brand evolution — elevated, structured, and functional at its core, while introducing a warmer, more editorial tone that brings emotional depth. It positions the brand to grow confidently from an iconic salon into a trusted lifestyle presence.
